The deconstructed strips of Incidental Comics

Webcomic mixes deconstruction of concepts with infographics within frames

Some comic works are so accurate in their content that it generates the inevitable question: “wow, how did I not think of that before?”. One of them is the online comic strip Incidental Comics, by artist Grand Snider.

Grant has worked as an illustrator for The New Yorker, The New York Times Book Review, and The Kansas City Star, as well as other Internet productions. But drawing and writing is not his main job. Snider also practices orthodontics in Wichita, Kansas.

But going back to Incidental, take a look at some strips to see the ingenuity of the writing and layout:

Snider released his first children's book What Color is Night? in 2019 and also has a compilation of his comics, The Shape of Ideas, from 2017. In 2020, the author released two books on the market: I Will Judge You By Your Bookshelf and What Sound is Morning?.
