Nintendo has officially announced the development of a live-action film based on the iconic “The Legend of Zelda” franchise.

This long-awaited film was confirmed by Nintendo and will have the financial and distribution partnership of Sony Pictures Entertainment. The film will be directed by the director of the “Maze Runner” trilogy and currently working on a film in the “Planet of the Apes” franchise, Wes Ball. More than 50% of the project's funding will come from Nintendo, demonstrating its commitment to the film adaptation of its beloved intellectual property.

I asked Avi-san to produce this film with me and we have now officially started development on the film with Nintendo themselves heavily involved in the production. It will take some time to complete, but I hope you are looking forward to seeing it.
