Burger King announces a collaboration with global gaming franchise Call of Duty® for its most anticipated release of the year, the Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II . Rewards will be offered to fans at more than 6,000 locations in 39 different markets, representing the Burger King brand's largest international video game collaboration to date.
To celebrate the game's launch, Burger King will also offer the opportunity for fans to play an exciting mission Modern Warfare II inside a Burger King restaurant or enter a themed restaurant Modern Warfare II with night vision goggles.
The Burger Town King operator skin is emblazoned with the logo of “Burger Town,” a fictional chain of quick-service restaurants (with a hamburger resembling the Whopper) that appears in several games from Call of Duty . While only one hour of 2XP gameplay can be redeemed at a time, players can redeem another hour with each new meal purchased. Codes can be redeemed at callofduty/ bkredeem.com
Surrounded by authentic sound effects and soundtracks from the game, visitors will feel as if they have entered a universe from Call of Duty , with game maps, loading screens and special codes. Guests will also enjoy from Call of Dutythemed stores in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Panama. Restaurants will be decorated with mini-maps from Call of Duty and game scenes.
