SXSW: Deepak Chopra's invitation

For those who are not very familiar with the figure, it is worth the context that Deepak Chopra is an Indian author, scholar of alternative medicine, who gained important fame after raising theses stating that people can, indeed, achieve perfect health, free from disease and pain, if they take care of their body in a holistic way, including matter and energy and who was at SXSW this year.

The session at SXSW revolved around psychedelics and their incredible ability to expand our minds, creating unique and almost mystical experiences. One of the examples presented showed that there are cases of people with trauma (PTSD), who no longer respond to traditional medicine treatments, including because the majority experience adverse reactions, but who have responded positively to alternative treatments.

Doug Drysdale lamented the negative stigma of psychedelics and stated that this is still a huge barrier, especially in the mental health struggle. Taking this hook, Chopra brought light to the fact that our brain is created by our genes, but shaped by our experiences. And then our ego comes in, which constantly fights to be right, to be validated, to be loved, and so on, causing infinite and often exhausting and painful dynamics, as they connect us with anger, revenge, anxiety, fear, guilt, humiliation, and so on.

Therefore, the invitation to use our energy to support us in the various protocols that expand our mind, such as meditation, mantras, music, etc., as our mind is proven capable of interfering in the functioning of all our organs. Here we go?
