Over the centuries, humans have sought to invoke the universe. In the new Disney and Pixar film Elio, the universe responds to the call. The film features Elio, an unlucky man with a fertile imagination who is suddenly transported to the Comuniverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from distant galaxies.

By mistake, he is identified as Earth's ambassador to the rest of the universe and finds himself completely unprepared for this immense pressure. Now, Elio must form new connections with eccentric alien life forms, face a series of incredible trials, and somehow discover who he really is.
The original voice cast includes America Ferrera, Yonas Kibreab, Jameela Jamil and Brad Garrett.
Directed by Adrian Molina (writer and co-director of “Viva – A Vida é uma Festa”) and produced by Mary Alice Drumm (associate producer of “Viva – A Vida é uma Festa”), this animation features the voices of America Ferrera as Olga, Elio's mother; Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa; Brad Garrett as Ambassador Grigon; and Yonas Kibreab in the lead role.
