The first day of The Town festival, held at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in São Paulo, has ended. The event was a mix of surprising presentations, logistical challenges and, of course, the unpredictable rain in São Paulo.
Starting with transport difficulties: the São Paulo metro line 9-emerald had problems, causing significant delays. Some people spent more than four hours getting to the festival site from República station.
Furthermore, there were reports of long queues and disorganization at the entrance to the event, with slowness in the process, which caused many people to miss several presentations.
Throughout the day, heavy rain was present, bringing a large number of people to the food court, one of the few covered places at the festival. This resulted in crowds and actions by security guards to maintain order.
Regarding music, the performances were varied. Demi Lovato surprised with an impactful performance, while artists like Post Malone and Iggy Azalea lived up to expectations.
On the national scene, there were exciting collaborations, such as that between the Heliópolis Symphony Orchestra and the Racionais MC's.
