Flaming Lips faz cover do Sgt Pepper’s inteiro

Flaming Lips é uma banda corajosa.

Primeiro porque está há mais de 30 anos à margem. E segundo, talvez por isso mesmo, se aventura em projetos arriscados como, por exemplo, refazer todas as músicas do Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band, álbum icônico dos Beatles, sem muito espaço para reinterpretações.

Já tinham feito parecido em 2012, com o Pink Floyd.

Já gravaram também com a Siri do ipHone;

E para deixar tudo um pouco ainda mais temperado, ainda chamaram o Moby e a Miley Cyrus para ajudar a convocar mais uma galera enorme para gravar neste projeto.  O resultado é o “With a Little Help from my Fwends”, que eles mesmos explicam (um pouco):
