Something curious is happening to me this year: I've already spent more on mobile games than on video games. The lack of time is forcing me to spend more hours on the small screen than on the big screen, so I'm buying everything that my friends recommend. Crowman & Wolfboy was a tip from student Pedro Aranha and is brightening up the morning.
In the game you control Crowman (crow man) and Wolfboy (wolf boy). They are fleeing a nefarious mass of darkness and must help each other to escape the dangers. The crow flies and carries the wolf, the wolf climbs and carries the crow. Simple directional tap mechanics and a look in the same vein as the classic LIMBO.
I downloaded it on my iPhone for 3 dollars and – for now – it's been a lot of fun. It has some interesting challenges and achievements.
