Oculus Rift is a headset designed to be a very innovative gadget in terms of immersion in games. Basically, it works like existing virtual reality helmets, but promises more power in graphics rendering, which means you move your head and it shows the virtual scenario in real time. The creators are seeking support to make the 100% project viable, but there are already a lot of tests and experiments using the technology.
One of the ideas that caught my attention the most was the game project called Alone. In the virtual environment, the player finds himself sitting on a sofa in a living room all the time looking at a TV where he can play a game. Well, a game within a game.
The big highlight here is that Alone It's a horror game. While macabre things are happening on the screen, the player hears things around the room. I won't say more, check out a video below with the project. Truly, this was one of the most creative things in terms of narrative that I have seen in recent times.
