Some good reasons for you to play ALIEN: ISOLATION

In exactly two weeks, more precisely on October 7th, we will have the launch of one of the most anticipated games of the year: “Alien: Isolation”.

The game is a survival horror and promises to be a very terrifying experience for fans of the genre. Despite being first-person and having shooter elements, the game will be more based on stealth and puzzle-solving mechanics; Powerful mega weapons and desperate combat are off script and the player will have to go through tense moments to get out of the story alive.

And speaking of history, “Alien: Isolation” takes place in 2137, more or less 15 years after the events narrated in the film Alien (by Ridley Scott) and 42 years before the film Aliens (by James Cameron). In the game, the player will control Amanda who is investigating the disappearance of her mother, the infamous Ellen Ripley. In the narrative, the character was transferred to the Sevastopol station and needs to find signs and clues about what happened to the Nostromo ship (from the first film in the series). The problem is that an alien has already made its nest on the ship and now the character will have to manage with few resources to face the creature.

I played the game's demo at E3 and listed some good reasons for you to play this game that has everything it needs to be truly incredible:

1-It is extremely tense: You have few resources and have to face an alien! The game brings back elements from games like Amnesia and Outlast, forcing the player to think and hide instead of engaging in combat.
2-The setting reproduces the atmosphere of the first film in the series: that dark atmosphere and “retro future” elements are reproduced perfectly and give a unique atmosphere to the adventure.
3-Labyrinthine structure: good horror/horror games can transform a small house into a good maze, this is no different. Players will have to explore the ship with the constant feeling of being lost.
4-Good graphics and good gameplay: Nothing new in terms of production, but the game is really beautiful and fun to play.
5-The extra content promises: In addition to the story, “Alien: Isolation” promises a good list of “time-based challenges” to challenge those who like a little extra trouble.
6-The alien responds to your movements: the player will have to study the environment very well as the alien will act according to the actions that occur. The scenery is your friend in this game and that makes the adventure even more fun to play.

The game is released for new generation consoles, Play 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The official website is really cool and worth a visit, click here to access.
