Pai e filha nessa animação de Natal da BBC, que mistura stop motion e CG

Produção caprichada e com tempero inglês

Apesar da história ser aquele clássico dos pais sem tempo para prestar atenção nos filhos, a direção inglesa fez, de novo, a diferença. Primeiro porque a falta de atenção é aquela da vida de hoje em dia mesmo, sem maiores culpas e/ou significados. Cenas como a do pai passando roupa contextualizam muito rapidamente a situação da família, a dedicação, etc.

Excelente direção e animação

E segundo porque todas as cenas tem a medida certa, com sutileza gestual e um tempero de imperfeição (da boa) graças à mistura entre stop motion, feita pelos mesmos criadores de “A Noiva-Cadáver” e “O Fantástico Sr. Raposo” e computação gráfica para dar mais vida as expressões faciais.

A coreografia e a animação das danças são excelentes.

E o final emociona ;)
